Hey thanks guys for the advice, you’ve de-stressed me, I was worried about this part of the project because it was an after thought. I’ll have a test on the weekend and let you know how i’ll go. Thank’s heaps.

I’ve just had another look at it and isolated the plugin. It was “First Visit Message” as demonstrated on this site http://www.thijmenstavenuiter.nl/ I’m no coder but I think it’s using jquery to do what it does. I can’t find it in the plug-in directory so perhaps the author, Thijmen Stavenuiter withdrew it after s/he figured […]

Okay Paul, i’ll get back to you with some leads later tonight, I’ve still yet to pinpoint which plugin is causing problems at the moment, doing my head in a bit because the same error has effected a few different features of the site – i assume.

@jenyus is right! jQuery conflicts appear to be rife. I’ve had multiple plugins affect the functionality of the Avatar and avatar crop feature, with the only solution turning them off. There needs to be a better way of isolating problems concerning jQuery.
