Just an update to this issue: Through working with @karmatosed we found that it was a problem, partially related to this ticket here: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3821 and were able to correct it.

@karmatosed Yes I did and they are suppose to be compatible with BP 1.5. I’m running Suffusion theme 3.9.0 with their buddypack plugin. After updating it I rebuilt the files as they said to do, but it didn’t help.

ya am using buddypress 1.5… but i donno whether my theme CUSTOM COMMUNITY is updated for buddypress 1.5 how can i check that???

thanks @karmatosed – the other two sites are on default bp theme. while this dennis-the-menace is on a canvas child theme.

Just to be clear, bp-default has been fixed to do automatically what @karmatosed suggests you do manually. This is only an issue for the BP Template Pack.
