In reply to: How to get users to post blogs
I have enabled wpmu. The positive- I now have blogs
The negative- I lost all of my users uploaded avatars, group avatars and when you click on blog it goes to the home page
In reply to: How to get users to post blogsSo camilin119, you have wpmu enabled already and you still can’t allow users to create blogs? I don’t want to wpmu enable if it doesn’t work.
In reply to: How to get users to post blogsExactly MW. That’s what I want on my website. I guess I have to enable multi-site within wordpress in order to do that. I will try it and let you know if it works. I just hope it doesn’t screw anything up on my website. When I uploaded wordpress 3.0 and buddypress 1.2.4 it caused some damage to my website which took me 4 days to fix.
In reply to: How to get users to post blogsI’ll try and word it better. I would like for my users to be able to write and post blogs. On my old ning website http://vapersplace.ning.com/profiles/blog/list users were able to write blogs and I don’t have this function on my current website http://www.vapersplace.com Is there a way I can have this function back for them?
In reply to: How to get users to post blogsNow you have me confused
. I used to have a ning website and my members had a tab called blogs where they could write and post blogs. I would like for my members to be able to do this on my website http://www.vapersplace.com As of now they can post recent activity, create and post on forums, create groups and create profiles. I would like to have the create blogs function back for them.I just realized that it also turned everyone’s uploaded avatar to a default avatar. Also changed all the group avatars to default avatars

I came across this on a search, https://svn.buddypress.org/tags/1.1-rc/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php and this code got my avatars working again. Now the only problem I’m having is when you try to upload an avatar, no matter what size it is it says it’s too big and won’t upload it. Any suggestions?
I’m not sure where back copies blogs.php is. Where is it located? I’m an amateur at this. Thanks for your help.
So I just add that line into my .htaccess file?
