| WordPress Origin Story | My WordPress journey began in early 2008 when I decided to move my website from iWeb to a more versatile platform. From the outset, I found myself drawn to the thriving community around WordPress, and it was this dynamic and supportive environment that catalyzed my deep love for this unique platform. In 2012, on the verge of graduating from college, I landed my first job as a developer for WordPress products. This was a remarkable feat considering my degree was not in software development or computer science, but rather in business marketing. The shift may have been unconventional, but it felt right to me. Immersing myself in WordPress and web development, I dove headlong into the world of code, design, and digital creativity. The learning curve was steep but invigorating, and it was this challenging yet fulfilling experience that cemented my commitment to WordPress. Since that decisive move, I haven’t looked back. I continue to nurture my passion for WordPress, drawing upon its incredible range of capabilities to create impactful digital solutions. Today, I am proud to say that WordPress isn’t just a tool I use; it’s an integral part of my professional identity and journey. |
