I just realised that the other admin had actually updated to the new Buddypress version which includes this tab.

How can I remove this tab still? It has broken my theme.

Hmm I’m not sure. I have copied the code exactly how you suggested, so I guess it’s something to do with the code of the theme

When I add this code it makes the list of members disappear, the page is blank and the page’s sidebar disappears.

When deactivating Buddypress, I still could not create a subdomain. I will go to their support forums and try and get a solution.
