I come from that page. I already copied and edited events.php and bp.php to register and hook up my own type. Now I need to upload the 2 files to– which directory?

Which directory should I put mytype.php(for register type) and bp-mytype.php(for hook up with bp)? Should I create a plugin for them? or, can I put them somewhere else and they just start working?
I want this post type enable users voting on it, which hook should I study on?

@kunalb Amazing plugin, it’s just what I have been looking for, however I am having an issue with privacy, the address details can be seen by any user, is it possible to alter it such that only users that have signed up to an event and are accepted can see the event details?

@kunalb Have you taken a look at wordtour..? It’s Another event plugin with a few more bells but it’s for buddypress.

    No it doesn’t support buddypress but it would be perfect if it did. It’s the plugin I was using before I found yours.

@kunalb When a user creates a NEW event, in activity I am seeing activity that says “user created the event ….”

Where …. is an event created by ANOTHER user.

Can you replicate this, or is this possibly related to another plugin I have?

  There is an error related to the create activity—I’d planned on the bugfix in 0.1.3, so hadn’t yet resolved it when releasing 0.1.2.3.

@kunalb Just updated the eventpress plugin on 11/5 – and can confirm the filter for the register button is working. When creating an event, there are two activity postings ( http://www.social-nc.com/activity ). I wonder if this could be related to the BP Wire plugin being activated?
