@mercime: Someone just approved that comment. I’m not sure about the URL rerouting not working properly because I haven’t actually run it in a ms environment yet. I haven’t seen the maintenance mode plugin, will check that out.
I’ve repaired the calendar javascript — code not up yet, but will be along with other bug fixes soon.
Thanks for the feedback!
@Mark: What kind of folder structure do you have? I had to do some trickery to pick up theme files from the plugin itself, without copy/pasting anything, and that seems to be causing a problem on your install.
Hi — I’ve got an initial version of eventpress ready.

@Mark: Sorry for being so late to reply, but I tend to check @ messages rarely here. As this is my GSoC project — I should be done by 16th August.
@Troy Hi — logged in here after a long time, sorry for the lack of reply.
I’m working on a completely new plugin from scratch, not using the existing BP Events plugin so I’m afraid I have no idea about fixing notifications.
UPDATE:
Based on a lot of feedback I’ve received, my proposal’s undergone some drastic changes — mainly support for WP without BP, and enhanced behaviour in Buddypress.
Updated the proposal for an events plugin once again: any comments/suggestions?
A rough first draft of the proposal: http://kunal-b.in/labs/index.php/gsoc-proposal/
Hi
I’ve been thinking about making a GSoC proposal for event handling — while my initial idea about the features required by the plugin was based on college festival websites (such as http://tryst2010.in – by yours truly) could you give me an idea of what you all — @zeitweise, @takeo, and others — expect from an event management plugin?
Thanks.
I’ll be posting my proposal link here in a few days/hours (depending on how long I can stay awake!)
