I refer you to my thread “BuddyPress in a separate blog” because it seems you are facing the same problem with I discussed on that thread. But that was my experiment in the past, that now I have left. Now I am using other means, which body_class is one of them.

Edit: with the latest version of BP (1.2.6), the blog posts on the subblog now can appear on the activity, even though BP multiblog mode is active.

I have just upgrade to version 1.0.4 and found the error when opening the Blogs tab. When I try to open the file front.php, there seems to be Bogs tab function is missing. Although I usually hide the Blogs tab on the frontpage, this error is certainly troubling?
