I am very frustrated. No matter what I do, if BuddyPress is activated registration does not work.

I’m going to send them a link to this thread. My site is finally getting popular and not being able to register people is a real pain in the you know where.

Earlier I put the site on staging platform and deactivated all the plugins and tried registering and it worked. Then, when I activated BuddyPress, registration stopped working. It has nothing to do with WPMU or social login at all. Aside from that, BuddyPress worked until the update. And apparently even though I uninstalled 1.62 something was left that is still causing an issue.

I’ll be on after Shabbat. Thanks for your help.

I’m on WP Engine. They’re supposed to be WP experts.

If the component can also allow posts to the recipe section, not a bad idea.

I want to have special forms for different types of status updates. with pods it would be a php call.

There was a plugin for shops in BuddyPress but I believe it’s been deprecated. I’d be willing to pitch in to have it fixed.

I think I am going to fork this on GitHub and if anyone wants to help, we can make the theme available WTFPL. I’d also like to fork a wp bootstrap/buddy press theme.

right, but Bones is built on a grid so I am considering forking this as a project on Github…I am not a php expert so I really hesitate to touch it.
