Buddypress as far as I have found can run in MAMP, and here’s how I have been able to do it (may not work for everyone).
*In the MAMP directory (using finder) right click the htdocs folder Get Info now what I […] -

Well, it looks like no-one is reading this thread, pity.
For anyone who happens to stumble on this…I have disabled the Admin bar in the WP-config file, when the modify header instruction is included, I then get a duplicate panel showing on the site aligned top: 0; left:0; !!!!????
Although this is running locally on my mac via MAMP, it can be…[Read more]

Sorry I should have said – this is on a testing site on the mac, run with MAMP-pro – had tried it on a live site, but was getting the same issues, so I know it’s not MAMP, also tested on Mac & PC with IE, FF, Opera, Chrome & Safari browsers.

Hi All, love the plugin, but it’s giving me alignment issues with my theme;
In FireFox it’s aligning top OK, but the panel is dropped down on every page load, it is also setting itself behind the horizontal menu bar – tried setting z-index on both, but with no joy.
In IE, Opera, Chrome & Safari it is sitting directly below the horizontal menu, not…[Read more]-

I am looking for a similar ‘service’ – can’t get the “step 3” to work – getting the theme to work on the BP, or vice-versa. Is it OK to email you Paul, or Dwenaus?? If anyone is on Skype – add me (rcpssmark) it would be very helpful if I could send the files […]

I need help in getting a theme to be re-coded to align correctly (the old step 3 issue).
This can either be someone having a look at my existing code and fixing it, or looking at it and talking me through what I need to do.
If you can do either, I can be contacted through Skype – add me- rcpssmark and we can sort costs etc. -

Artisteer – see http://www.artisteer.com/
It’s a theme generator, if you like. I generally use it to quickly create a theme, then tidy things up in the CSS.Re the Jobs board, I didn’t know one existed – will head over there later today if I don’t sort something first.
Thanks -

I have no problem in hiring someone to help out with this issue…. As for the CSS / HTML awareness…. neither of these help when the problem is within PHP…. I can clearly see in the PHP where the CSS is pulled in, but it still does not fix the problem. If I had more […]

I have tried editing the files, but cannot…[Read more]
