It worked. I found out that in the new theme environment students no longer see their own classes when I set the group as hidden, but when I set it to private they DO see it. So it was a very easy fix for a strange choice made by the theme.

I have my hosting at Kinsta. They have this Kinsta APM tool that does this. You could ask them.

I’ve seen this before. And I’ve tried it again just now. I added the bp-custom.php into the plugins folder, but it didn’t do much for me. What am I doing wrong?

Solved. I had to tick the option: Sync BuddyPress signup email address with WooCommerce billing email address in the WC4BP plugin..
