There’s no 8? in that file. Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of BuddyPress and re-uploading it to server?

@charlietech Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Suffusion theme responsive now? If so, you just add the style changes under media query breakpoint per suffusion theme’s style.css file in main theme or child theme.

@johnnyjonjon BP 1.7 beta or BP 1.7 RC 1?  what theme are you using? what plugins do you have installed? If you change to BP Default theme and clear cache, is the issue resolved or not?

I renamed the three files as BP Compat asked…not sure what I need to do.

@charlietech What theme are you using? You can either a) just use CSS to hide the avatar and then move the status update box to the left or b) remove lines 16 through 20 of post-form.php and then adjust style of status update form in your theme’s style.css

@somdefabrica double-check the privacy settings of your blog in subsite. It must allow indexing by robots/google.

@b1gft it means. When you hover on where the avatar is supposed to be on the page, what’s the url to the image that shows up in status bar? e.g. … wp-content/uploads/avatars/ etc or something else?

@naturalworldstm there are a couple of BP media plugins. Are you referring to https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-media/ ? if so, please also post at their support forums https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-media

@rushster Upgrade to BP 1.6.5, change to BP Default theme, and check if avatar cropping issue is fixed in your installation.
