@p2ab Seems like you already deleted your BP test site. When you first set up and test BP, recommend using the BP Default theme and not activating any other plugin.

I have set this page for registration : http://www.inandaboutdubai.com/register But for some reason it bounces back to the home page.

@vegaskev maintenance mode has borked some plugins while testing. Have you tried removing maintenance mode for a minute or so to check if avatar upload issue is resolved then?

1. Change theme’s page.php to have one sidebar or

@daronna I assume that you’re on a Windows server thus trying to get pretty permalinks working as required by BuddyPress by appending /index.php. That method is not going to work with BuddyPress.

Have you done some basic troubleshooting like deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress and then checking if issue is resolved? what browser are you using?

@amanor check in Pages > All Pages if you have a page named Register. If none, then go to Pages > Add New and add the title e.g. “Join Us” (small anti-spam protection) and Publish.

@webifiedgeek it’s a CSS thing as you suspected. I can only guess that some other CSS is overriding your theme’s default CSS.
