You need to install/activate the BP Template Pack plugin to make any WP theme compatible with BuddyPress. Then you have to go through Appearance BP compatibility process.

@inakio “pretty permalinks” are REQUIRED for BP to work in your installation and there’s no way to get around this.

@kanat007 This is basic WordPress function. Go to wp-admin Settings > General and go to the line where you can enable registration (off by default) and Save settings.

Just to confirm, you can create a blog in wp-admin even if BP is activated?

If yes, what theme are you using? Does same error appear if you change to bp-default theme?

@smartchap16 That plugin won’t work on moving/changing activity stream updates to group forum topics. You’d either have to code this yourself, or hire a developer to do so.
