After you changed the slugs in bbPress settings page, did you change the slug/name of your bbPress forums in your custom menu.

It’s possible. You’d need some custom plugins though, especially for “a site which can match memebers based on certain criteria.” Custom plugins == you have to code it or hire a developer to do so.

Did you back up your database before upgrading to newer WP/BP versions? You need your database backup to revert back to old version ASAP.

From what old WP/BP versions did you upgrade to what new WP/BP versions?

Go to Appearance > BP Compatibility and enable CSS and JS i.e., do not check the boxes to disable BP Template Pack’s CSS and JS.

You can use Firebug, a Firefox add-on, or use Chrome and right click to Inspect Element, to help you identify which style you need to modify. Or you can post site url.

Why do you have the code to BP’s members/index.php as the index.php of your theme in pastebin.com? I suggest you re-upload your boulevard theme files again, just in case.
