| WordPress Origin Story | I have created my first blog in 2010 and I’ve started like many others in the industry – start changing some small bits here and there. I got hooked very fast and start changing the theme piece by piece. At some point, I’ve realized it’s time to create my own WP Theme from scratch. Then continued with updating and creating small plugins. This got me involved in the WordPress community very fast. Back in the days, there weren’t too many places where you can find information. I went to my first WordCamp in 2011. This hooked me even more and I have been helping the community since then in every possible way. I like too many things in WordPress, so it’s a bit hard for me to say one, but if I need to pick – I’d say themes – these are my passion the most, even if I’m not a designer. |
