@michael,The 404 errors tell you that the buddypress contents have not been correctly transfered. Did you complete the Buddypress Template Pack Steps? (e.g templates)
If you have, try manually bringing the files over to your new server via FTP, or any other hosts you use.

@Michael Eisenwasser, thanks for the nice tool. One suggestion though– the free version of s2member removes WP and BP free sign up links. For site marketing purpose, this is a very bad practis. Sure we can show the free membership on the sign up or membership option pages, but a simple “Sign up” on BP Admin bar worth more than a lot of advertizement.

@Michael It was caused by a defect in the media-single.php template. Fixed in tonight’s beta (2010-06-25).

Try Modemlooper’s widgetized theme as a child theme of bp-default. It might be just what you’re looking for.
