@mistercyril, after a quick search, I found – https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-control/ you can have a look if you can use is for buddypress.

Note: I have not tested this plugin

@mistercyril, There is no such function by default, what you can do is hire a developer to create a plugin which does that for you.

@mistercyril am just discovering this myself, but it looks like it allows you to make different extended fields (or groups) available to different kinds of users. pretty cool! though not what i was looking for…

so that if, for example, you want to ask an admin what his favorite color is, but not a contributor, you can! 🙂

I can help you with this.
It would be better to use a separate table.
The table would hold the member id and the id(s) of who they assist.
I did something similar recently for a blocking member(s) option for a BP site with over 7000 members.
