You could add that same thing to your .htaccess file as well.

Make sure your .htaccess file is correct

Search for a plugin and then you will need to replace the navigation links in your header.php file with the code to call the plugins drop down menu. You can also add support for wp menus and then do the css or javascript coding to make it drop down.

@agrundner I doubt WP touch will. I’m creating something that resembles the Facebook iphone app. It’s not really a mobile blog theme.

Are you using a normal WP theme? If so you have to install BuddyPress template pack plugin.

I meant that when you hover the two other link areas dim but the place you hover doesn’t change. Seems backwards.

Maybe the hovered area needs something that changes too?

Looks good, my only thing right way that I dont like is the hover on the three boxes below header. It feels backwards. Normally what you hover changes not things around it. Also, I think the headers on the content areas are too “3D” feeling. Maybe it’s the dark shadow around them.

oembed plugin allows posting from certain sites but so far, and its the most requested feature, there is no upload on activity or forum postings.

Child themes do not get deleted, only the files inside wp-content/plugins/buddpress/bp-theme This is why you never modify those files. if you want to change those files, then you copy them to your child theme folder preserving the folder structure. Make sure you activate the default BuddyPress theme or create a suitable child theme. BuddyPress is more than a plugin, you need a compatible theme.

@Dudeski I think it’s a BP bug. I’ve seen other posts on here where people cannot edit themes via admin.
