if you create a profile field for zip codes and then search /members/?s=90210 it should list any member who put 90210 in a profile field

Probably a Cache issue. Deactivating a cache plugin doesn’t always remove the cached files.

The easiest way would be to enable multi site and then use BuddyPress on a separate blog. Multi site uses same database.

It is either a plugin or a theme issue. Can you deactivate all plugins besides WordPress and BuddyPress and then if it is still there switch theme to twenty twelve.

This is something you should ask the theme developer about as it’s outside the scope of support for the BuddyPress plugin

Need more info on what is install, how many users etc. Doesn’t sound right. I’ve run vanilla BP on shared hosting with hundreds of users.

get user id’s of the role and then exclude those id’s. google how to exclude id’s from buddypress members loop. it’s been posted here a few times

Spammers will find any way to get into a site, nothing new there. If you know exactly how registrations are getting through then email it in.

BP is really only for one site on a multisite unless you use a BP specific multisite plugin OR this https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-multi-network/

To display an ajax button:

But you don’t say where you want to place a button.

They may need to login once before they show in members lists.
