I’m finding the list of menu items in the meta box to be insufficient in handling all the menu items that will be introduced. So need to do a little wire framing and feedback

This wont get fixed until WP 3.5 and/or BP 1.7

The best solution is to move content to a dev server piece by piece, get everything right and then just trash the current db. BP has come a long way since 1.2 and you don’t need to hack the core as much to customize it.

There is a trac ticket to include a login widget since theme compat is killing sidebar code, I took ownership of ticket, I’ll look through other widgets and make markup better add anything missing.

you can change the slug of the members page to whatever you like, then install BP Extended settings and choose option to have root profiles.

iOS 6 allows media uploads. So BP Album+ works. Avatar cropping won’t work until WP 3.5.

I added the second check so you can keep settings while turning off that option

I’ve successfully created dynamic links with ability to re arrange menu in admin. We may want to use same technique for user nav on profile page.
