Very easy. Wrap code you want hidden in an if is group admin OR if is admin statement. You could also hack the code to make every group hidden by default.

Are you using a cache plugin, they do not work well with BuddyPress. Also your initial question was about viewing the profile as the default page of a user file not redirecting on login.

Mobile theme is a completely different theme. I’ll test this with widget theme. Should work ok, though every site is different

Search on here and google “buddypress activity stream meta”
It’d possible but you’d need to create your own method to display activity from a certain tag

No, BuddyPress works fine and will into the future and bug fixes are never ending. This site is developed live, hence it being broken. Don’t use this site as a reflection of the state of the software.

WordPress functions get_header() & get_footer() will not work outside of WordPress. You can’t throw a php file into the root and make it work. All WordPress template files need to be in an active themes folder.

There are different methods for the like button and you can tell it what link to use. The cut and paste like code scrapes the page so it will read your logged out page. Read about it in Facebook docs.
