Safari on iPhone doesn not support uploading pictures from the mobile phone. I don´t know about android though.

Maybe BP mobile creator @modemlooper has some input?

      advert code goes at top of sidebar.php file
      
      The bottom posts below featured show all posts except featured. in widget-home.php look at section subcontentleft you will see

I have uploaded share-it to my buddypress installation, activated it, and it shows in the buddypress menu. I checked the options and saved them, but I don’t see anything in my forum posts, blog posts, or anywhere on my site.

I have followed all the installation instructions. I am using wordpress 3.0 with BP 1.2.5.2.

I have used your theme on a couple of my sites but seem to keep coming up with a similar problem. I am not great with code etc… so am not sure how to fix this.

  The issue is plugin developers include theme files and these are based on BP default that does not include a left side bar. Look at page.php you can see the extra left-sidebar.php call. This will need to be added to your plugins theme files

    Look in the plugins template folder and any file that has a sidebar.php call at bottom will need the left sidebar added.

@modemlooper hi.. i was wanting to use BP verified for one of my sites but when i changed my theme the verfied seal doesn’t show up. theme i am using: http://themetastic.com/buddypress/?wptheme=Network – any idea what i need to do? i don’t want to change themes… but really want to use your plugin 🙂

  Theme is probably missing the do action in member-header.php. This plugin has been used on many themes. I’d ask the theme dev about it

  You’ll have to change the code in template files. BP 1.3 will have native WP menus support at that time the plugin will to.

  Thanks, I had a test site upgraded 1.2.8 and didn’t see any join buttons. Never really noticed they only show if you have more than one admin

Good suggestions @modemlooper and @boonegorges .
I have WPMU (thankfully backed stuff up) went to 3.1 but noticed a few hiccups and rolled back to the previous version. I’m going to wait until a few things are resolved before I use it on my live sites.

@modemlooper most definitely not – although I did hit upgrade on a dev site and unsurprisingly it broke it, I can’t see the new sparkly dashboard – but I can see the admin bar!

@modemlooper ‘s BuddyPress Mobile plugin/theme is wicked good but I’ve had some people ask for the site in an iPhone app (smh, I know). Has anyone found a way to sneak BuddyPress snugly into an iPhone app? If so, how did you do it?

@modemlooper , thanks for the suggestion. I didn’t realized this issue. But, do we have control over this issue? How to not allow google scraping through?
