In reply to: Singular Activity StreamOn this site the only filter that looks to have change is that they’ve added @ mentions to the default profile stream. Do you want a wall where people can post to? Maybe this is what you are looking for http://buddydev.com/buddypress/using-activity-as-wire-in-buddypress-1-2-themes/
In reply to: wpmudev plugins just don’t seem to work?Per WordPress licensing, plugins and themes really should be free and people should charge for support and customization. If someone is selling ‘support’ under the guise to sell themes or plugins and not giving support it’s their own fault if somebody releases the paid plugins to everyone.
The best way to go about it, in my opinion, is to release themes or plugins as a free version and then have some with paid support and more options.
In reply to: Singular Activity Stream@r-a-y LOL, sometimes you have to POINT out the obvious.
In reply to: I need ideas for theme creation.@nahummadrid bb forums are leaving BuddyPress to become a WordPress plugin. This might open more opportunities to customize it. What QA theme are you using or is it from scratch?
In reply to: What template does this use?Even on THIS site they have removed the permalink and it re directs you. I agree, useless page.
In reply to: How I create a tab Reviews like in the plugins?Create your own component.

In reply to: Plugins requiredI’d use post types instead of using custom fields for using as a shop. Custom fields was the old way but now that post types are available it’s better to use those. You can create admin panels that are user friendly.
I’m creating a theme for ‘eshops’ that use post types. Basically a BuddyPress version of etsy.
In reply to: Singular Activity StreamThats already on the top of your activity stream. They just moved it to the side changed some wording and added the followers filter. Plus they removed the post form.
In reply to: Sticky how to’s?Most things asked could easily be answered if people would just google before posting. *hint*
In reply to: Singular Activity StreamThat should be the default BuddyPress activity stream. yoursite.com/activity
In reply to: Sidebar – Customization for PrivacyActually I think the sidebar login form is already in an if statement and you could easily add the sidebar call there
In reply to: Sidebar – Customization for PrivacyI think best option is to create your own sidebar function and use an if user is logged in statement.

};In reply to: Videos & picts embedded in forums?BuddyPress Oembed plugin is what you need
In reply to: How can I keep up to date with forum replies? No. That only applies to activity replies.
In reply to: No Title of Each Posts and PagesI suggest you install the SEO buddypress plugin. It’s gives you control over the titles.
In reply to: inside group subnav ?I’ll add that. i’m going to add some admin option like you choose on Twitter’s tweet button site.
In reply to: Migrate Buddypress Members from Old Site to New SiteIn reply to: inside group subnav ?I’ll add some more options. I’ll have to look at the code for adding to subnav. Id this for tweeting a group home page? One of the challenges of doing a plugin like this is accommodating various themes and making the placement fit in.
In reply to: BuddyPress Tweet Button pluginIn reply to: Custom Home PageCreate a page template the same as in WP.
Add a new page called home. Choose your page template.
Then in your admin >> reading choose that page as the front page. You can create anything you want.
In reply to: I need ideas for theme creation.@nahummadrid Interesting. I’m finding two paths for BuddyPress sites people are creating. Blogging Networks and Social Networks. These are two entirely separate theme requirements.
