I tried setting my time in WP using UTC also, but it didn’t work for me. Glad you’ve got it all straightened out though (I’m still on BP 1.6.1 – maybe this has something to do with it). For now I’ll need to use this function.

@MrsAngelD Hey Angel. I need a little guidance.You helped me out with Buddystream before, so I thought you may know.
I am able to import twitter and facebook updates.
And I can see my own imports under my status update field in my own profile section. However, if I log in as another member, I am unable to see those same updates.

Any idea

I am using your version of import.php
And i want to go ahead and comment out the echo statements you mention.
I’m not a coder so ithat’s why i have to ask.

I want to say I went through import.php myself and just posted a support ticket with the same answer that @mrsangeld has here and at the pastebin links. I should learn to check here first but wanted to post to confirm it works for me as well and does not appear to have made the cut […]

I’ve still not been able to get this to import facebook posts. I’ve tried making @mrsangeld‘s changes, but nothing changed. I’m not using MS, so I’m not sure those were necessary for my install. Btw a general import issue occurred under some circumstances with Multi Site installations, which was solved with a workaround by @mrsangeld here: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddystream/forum/topic/buddy-stream-not-importing/#post-83040
