@msmalley Hi Mark… excuse me if this is misdirected, but I’ve just installed gPress on a clean buddypress site I’ve started developing this morning (WP and buddypress were installed about an hour ago, gPress half an hour ago… nothing else has been touched yet), and Nod32 Antivirus blocks a trojan (JS/TrojanDownloader.HackLoad.AE) when I visit…[Read more]

@msmalley Mark, something I would like to see is “directions”. Google can populate directions as Im sure you know, though it would be up to you and others if they would like to see it implemented. I don’t think it would be necessary for members ( privacy issues amongst other things ), mainly for ‘places’ and […]

@msmalley I’ve got an issue with the latest gpress update in that Remote Publishing XML-RPC doesn’t connect with mobypicture.com any more unless I disable the gpress plugin!
Any ideas? -

@msmalley Mark, Although I’m not using your plugin… It is refreshing to see plugin developers like you so active on this board. Just thought I would share.

@msmalley Can you provide gpress hooks for BP MEDIA 0.1.9 plugin
-
In what way do you see the two working together…?
gPress 0.2.5 has loads of new hooks and filters that can be used for several things, as seen in the “gpress-examples” folder now included with the plugin, but until I work on specific case-uses, its hard to predict exactly what filters to put where. It would also rely upon BP Media adding code…[Read more]

@msmalley Unfortunately I had to disable gpress now, because the frontend is not accessible anymore. So as long you are not working on it, it will stay disabled otherwise no one can access the site. When you enable gpress it is still possible to access backend administration without problems, only forntend will not be available. Please […]

@msmalley I upgraded to the latest gpress, the one with the fatal error in it.

@msmalley Hi Mark! I was about to post to the gPress forum but this way you can sort out yourself what might be the problem at first before I post any nonsense. Here we go:
I am running WP-multisite 3.0.1 with BuddyPress 1.2.5.2. After installing gPress everything looks fine – but it messes with my theme, especially some shortcodes so I wanted to…[Read more]

Hi Mark,
I backed up the db and the plugin/themes files and made those files writable to you with the editor.
If you make changes in the theme could you please document to me the exact changes you have made? I suppose a good working plugin can function without any changes to the default buddypress theme files.
Changes in the gpress plugin are…[Read more]

You have to re-activate the plug-in in the directory. Well you know what to do. Good luck.

@msmalley – Menu’s plugin update “My problem is there isn’t any way, I can see, to not display ‘Places’ and ‘gPress Options’ for non-super admins in the backend ( dashboard ),” Hi Mark, I upgraded the menu’s plugin this morning and checked if it affected the problem I mentioned above.
