    I found the problem, there was an older version of the file in my child theme directory which overrode the file in the registration folder.

    Thanks for your time, @mercime.

    @mercime Yes, I’m still using the bp default theme.

    And yes, I have a folder namned registration in my child theme where I put these files.

    The most recent tests I did:

    Made changes in register.php.
    Uploaded the file with filezilla ftp client.
    Downloaded the file to a temp folder and I can see the changes in the file.
    Waited (more than) 15 minutes (to be sure that it’s not cashed) and still nothing shows up on the web site.

    I also deactivated my child theme and activated the bp default theme. Then I made changes in register.php in the bp default theme and the changes show up on the site. I activated my child theme and there’s som old version showing, different from the original and different from the one in my child theme.

    Hi again,

    I’m still having problem updating activate.php and register.php. I think it occured when I moved the site from one host to another.

    @mercime
    Our current host cashes the sites for five minutes which makes it unlikely that the problem lies there, since we’ve had this problem for a few months. Also it seems that it only concerns the register and activate files.

    It seems like the site somehow shows the wrong files. But I don’t know how that would be possible, where would those files be located? Can there be a URL that I need to change somewhere, since we’ve change both hosts and bought a domain address for the site?

    Thanks,
    Lisa

    Thanks for answering.

    Nothing happens when I change the markup, plain text or even delete the files. The styles (in styles.css) and all other files, I can change and the changes do show up.

    And yes, the register.php and the activate.php are located in the “registration” folder which is in my child theme directory.
