I have a problem with the mail-from plugin- it fixed the email confirmation problem but now whenever someone sends a Private Message it comes “from” the address set by the mail-from (which in our case is my email address- now I am getting all kinds of replies to people’s private messages because they hit Reply without noticing where it was going- this would not happen before because it came from no-reply @domainname.com

I am having this problem too! Extremely frustrating…new users are complaining they can’t log in. They are in limbo, marked as spammers because the confirmation email never went out. We noticed if I as an admin delete their account and tell them to re-register, they then get the email and complete the process successfully. (??)
That bug fix 2191 did not work for me- I still have to go to the Friends tab on my member profile to make the notification go away- I would have liked for it to go away as soon as it was acknowledged (clicked on)
I had the same question as Kevin – how can users create their own blogs? from the showcase sites especially the one on EcoLiving here http://helloecoliving.com/hello-eco-living-blogs/ they have the option Create your own blog. so I thought it was part of BuddyPress but I guess not.
