Are the default group avatars supposed to be using Mystery Man? I thought it was Identicons before? Is there a new setting to control this?

thanks @karmatosed – the other two sites are on default bp theme. while this dennis-the-menace is on a canvas child theme.

…I wonder if the W3TC is causing a conflict…I did have it on on this trouble site and i didn’t turn it off while i was having trouble. I’ll see if the problem pops up again.

I ended up reinstalling wordpress and de/reactivating bp and it seems to have done the trick.

I’ve deactivated plugins just in case there was a conflict in the admin side .js but still no luck in trying to move existing profile fields to another group. Any ideas to reset or export/import Extended Profile […]

Do notifications stay recorded anywhere to be able to create a notifications page with a history of all previous notifications read and unread.

…until I removed the
define( ‘BP_FORUMS_SLUG’, ‘discussions’ ); that I had sitting in the wp-config file.

if your forums setup isn’t working be sure to remove that first.

this sounds familiar…i think i posted about this a while back somewhere(i’ll look), that the bp loops clashed with the search results page. it’s still the case too, I’ve had to not put any bp widgets on search results page […]

I still haven’t figured out why a wp page slug /search does not work with buddypress/bp-default — I’m trying to house a search page but it either redirects to /members/?s= or the homepage.

Any clues/
