I’m not too sure what bumping etiquette is here, but this is a bump! If anyone has any idea how to work with the forum template tags I’d be really grateful to hear.
Sorry for the delay. It will be in your theme’s folder. If you are using the BP default theme then it will be in: your_wordpress_folder/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default
If you are using this then it will probably be worth creating a child theme so that you don’t loose any changes with plugin upgrades. If that is what you want to do then I can give you some help there too.
Nope . Well not for me at least. Just the text appeared.
I use BP-Registration-Options and also Members Only between them this keeps out the non registered users and presents the registration page by default (which I have set as my redirect in Members Only). I hope this helps.
It’s in the header.php file. It’ll look something like:
<li class="selected"> <a href="//" title=""></a></li>
You’ll just change ‘Memebers’ to ‘Travelling’ in the two instnaces.
Is there a MySQL forum site that someone could recommend that I ask this? Occurs to me that it might be better to ask the question somewhere else! Thanks.
Me too! ONly just happened. I added a group yesterday to show someone and we lost connection at the add avatar stage so I never actually confirmed it. Today I made a couple of minor changes, added the plugin bp-gallery and now I can’t add groups in exactly the way that you described. Also I couldn’t delete any groups. I removed the test group of yesterday through the database but still nothing. Help!!
I’m not sure why this still isn’t possible – in the default theme the image seems to be hard coded to read 150×150 but there is plenty of space all around it. It would be great if anyone could tell me where I could change the dimensions. Stretching the image through css would probably look bad.
Thanks
That’s the plugin that I’m talking about! It doesn’t work at the moment.
How’s this for being awkward: is there a way in Welcome Pack 2.1 that I could force some friendships on new users (that doesn’t sound right!) but suggest others? I love the thought that it could be used as a teaching method but also want to set up some default friends too.
