@djpaul yeah I had the SendGrid plugin setup yesterday and it was working as expected.. The only obvious issue is it does not include the same nice contextual info like the standard BP emails (e.g “Hi, {{DisplayName}}).
I’m a little surprised that no one has published an existing solution for passing the common variables through to a transactional email service.
No — so basically I have a site with say 5000 Posts from a bunch of different authors.
Ive added Buddypress to the site and we only have/need our profile pages to show the users posts, this is working fine for anytime an author publishes a new post, because an activity record is created.
However, the old posts (published prior to buddypress being installed) do not show because there are no activity records, correct?
How do I create activity records for all the old posts, so the user has a complete profile?
Ahh I see another issue.. Its not actually favoriting the specific post. If I click the favorite button on one post, and go to another post, it will show the unfavorite button. Same with any post, its globally effecting the state of the button..
Also looking for this… it seems to save somewhere because if you close tab and reopen it remembers if you favorited the post.. Just not showing up in the favorites page!
This is basically a really old version of what I need.. its not working but same exact idea (except we dont have comments, only posts). About 1000 posts total from 1000 different users
Any ideas on this? Legacy wordpress posts simply do not show up buddypress activity streams.
i have the buddypress profile showing all new posts since the time buddypress was installed, but how might i add buddypress activity records for every users old posts?

Im looking to include old posts on users profiles — buddypress only shows updates (including new posts) since the buddypress plugin was installed/activated.
I think I need a way to create activity stream events for those old posts, as our users have hundreds of posts that are now not showing when someone visit their buddypress profile page…
