Did you make reference in the plugin to where you took your code from?

It’s really bad practice to take other developer’s code and not credit them.

Not sure. It appears for me under the buddypress admin dropdown as ‘Activity Block’ and it should work for muti-site as well. (I’m running a single installation.) I’m gonna mention the developer, @nuprn1, though he hasn’t been on in months. Perhaps @Bowromir knows…

Just placed your code into my functions file and the menu item wasn’t removed:
bp_core_remove_subnav_item( $bp->activity->slug, ‘favorites’ );

Would anything have change in buddypress to cause this?

I wanted to get rid of the “Visit” link on the buddypress admin bar.

What i did was ghoing into the bp-core-adminbar.php and changed the:

add_action( ‘bp_adminbar_menus’, ‘bp_adminbar_random_menu’, 100 ); to…

remove_action( ‘bp_adminbar_menus’, ‘bp_adminbar_random_menu’, 100 );
