@nuprn1 Hi Rich, I was testing the update to WP 3.0 using the latest BP trunk build. I get the following error when viewing a member profile:
Fatal error: Class ‘BB_Query’ not found in /home/musicpln/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums.php on line 327

at your website etivite.com, it seems there are only Forum-posts in your activity-stream and all other activites are not visible, right ?
How can I achieve this at my own website ?

think i did the proper locale strings but haven’t generated a language file for it (i’m still not up to par on how WP does localization) slaffik sent me some plugins with the language file (in RU) but with the loader stuff in the code. I just need to merge and update all my plugins.

when I am using your “Forums Extras Plugin”, do I need to have “BP Activity” turned on ?
I am actually running a page with just having Groups and Forums. The Groups are on my Start-page.
I have disabled Activity-Streams. Can I still use your Plugin when Activities-component is disabled ?Please let me know.

@nuprn1 I’m using BuddyPress Activity Stream Bump to Top plug-in and it’s doing good. but I have one essential question. how can we edit and localize those “activity_update, new_forum_topic…” terms that shown before time stamp?

@silvercover those terms shouldn’t show up on the live portion of the site (only the wp-admin to select which ones to allow bumping)… have a screenshot or the site url?

strange – looking at my code I do not see anything that would echo the activity->type to the screen. If you disable bump-to-top does the activity->type disappear?
Do you have any other plugins installed? anything that would filter on bp_get_activity_action, bp_insert_activity_meta or bp_activity_time_since?

As you asked, I disabled “BuddyPress Activity Stream Bump to Top” plug-in and sadly those terms remained!
I also have “BuddyPress Forums Extras”, “BuddyPress Skeleton Component”, “BP Group Management” and BuddyPress 1.2.3 installed.

skeleton component is for development use – that might be causing the problem

@nuprn1 thanks for the new code! I have this working now! the only thing that is happening now is that the widget is displaying a ? in a black diamond before the title of each topic in the widget. I am using WP 3.0. Is this something to do with an unrecognised character or something? […]

When you said ‘make sure to change “Whatever_You_Named_It_Latest_Topics_Widget” to the name of the widget class’I don’t think Im doing this right. I have just copied your original code you supplied so what class do I need to put in the function?

@nuprn1 Yes, I had already checked members and groups, but still doesn’t work. My buddypress install is in a subdirectory…do you think that affects anything?

@nuprn1 – ah, we always overlook the simple solutions! I disabled every plug in aside from Buddypress and it’s now working perfectly. So it’s a rogue plug in – I’ll start them up one and by one and see which one it is and will post back with the results. Many thanks!
