Thanks a lot for figuring out a solution to this issue. I could not find any info on it at all, until I stumbled upon this thread. Not even any information on this error from rtmedia. Implemented the code and worked like a charm. 🙂
I’m also hoping for a fix to this is in the works as well.
Alright, I figured out what was braking the theme! Because I was turning off the friends feature since I’m going use BuddyPress Follow , one of the components in the header that called for pending friends request must have some how messed up things. Which when you think about it makes sense, since the header was the only thing that was working.

Thanks for the response! I did indeed try to disable all plugins, but no dice. I’m using a theme based off of the default buddypress theme as a child-theme.
