I have noticed some stuff has gone from bp 1.2.7 default theme, I hope it does not make the column issue harder to fix. Thanks @modemlooper for letting us know when you will manage to update themes.
Hi @modemlooper, here comes a new BP release. Is there any good news in it which would help to get our problem fixed ? What about the bp-default theme, any improvements ? Thanks.
I guess this topic is closed thanks to Dave, please see [Plugin: Buddypress-Ajax-Chat] Plugin not working : Fatal error for more information.
Hi @rockyteng, we are talking about this issue here… be welcome
Thanks for looking at it @Dfa327, I remembered you writing somewhere you prefer we report bugs somewhere else but I could not sign up at the time I have tried.
Is the fix suppose to be in 1.3.6 version of the plugin ? If so, I report the problem still occurs.
Thanks for letting us know when you will fix it,
flipsI think it happens only on local setup and specially when buddypress is accessed via http://localhost/… ? Is that correct ?
It does work on live servers and local machines having a vhost setup (http://www.WHATEVERYOUWANT.SOMETHING).
The plugin does not create cookies on local machine (comparing both phpinfo() outputs), is it related to cookies on localhost (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1134290/cookies-on-localhost-with-explicit-domain) ?
Thanks for help.
Any news on this problem ? I’m having the same with WP 3.0.3 and BP 1.2.6
The author site is down, sorry to post here.
Sorry to bother @modemlooper, I was just wondering if you had time to have a look at the second column cut problem with Thin Wide Thin template ?
Thanks
Thanks @hnla,
I have just installed a clean 1.2.6 / 3.01 and created some users.
When I start to type in sent-to field, nothing appears… Could you tell us how it exactly works for you ?
Can someone help us on this ?
@modemlooper Thanks for answering, the column height issue seems to happen on all modern browsers and OS. Don’t you have this problem ?
I use latest Firefox under Ubuntu and a friend tested on IE 7 and 8 under Windows XP.
I have the same problem with the Thin Wide Thin template and have no idea how to fix it. Is it due to the central column absolute position ? Thanks.
Hi, did you have time to have a look at that bug ?
