I found a plugin which restricts or allows users, based on their roles, to have different capabilities. It’s simply called members. It also allows for custom capabilities. It’s author said that we should get the name of the custom capability from the author of the plugin whose capabilities we desire to allow. Does Invite Anyone have custom capabilities and what are their names? This would solve my problem. Thanks.

    Problem solved.
In response to an error message about possible conflicts, had changed the Form Base slug under Archive Slugs in Settings->Forums rather than the Forum Slug under Single Slugs.
Now I’ve changed the Archive Slug back to “forum” and changed the Single Slug to “sitewide-forums” and everything works great.
    Hope this helps someone else.

I like the ability to invite multiple people at one time, the ability of the inviter to change the wording of the invitation and the ability to invite to specific groups at the same time. If 1.5 allows for those things, as shipped, we probably don’t need IA. If it would allow me to designate inviters one-by-one, I would be thrilled.

O.K. I found the readme file, I’m embarrassed, and noticed you can theme and redirect. I’m not sure I want to redirect though because it defeats the BuddyPress feel. PostHaste seems to work with it if you don’t want to use the P2 theme. I guess I have to find a way to remove the two links that are showing up and include another link somewhere to the Blog Homepage for adding posts.

    Thanks for your plugin

    Hi,

I installed Groupblog on WordPress 3.2.1 & BuddyPress 1.5 using the BuddyPress default theme. It seems to be working except that I don’t see an easy way to post to it. I activated it network-wide then enabled the blog through the group admin. It created a Blog tab in the group page which displays posts. If I use the Dashboard -> New Post link in the BuddyPress admin bar, it takes me to the site blog rather than the group blog. There are two links on the Groupblog page; one is to the Sample page that WordPress comes with and the other to Events which is a page for the EventsManager plugin.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks

    Hi

FYI, I had the same error “Cannot access empty property… bp-core-notifications.php on line 63”. I’ve been experimenting with plugins so have installed, tried and uninstalled several. I’m not real knowledgeable about WP, BP or programming but your solution about emptying the wp_bp_notifications table worked for me too. I’ve been experimenting with different plugins than you. Hope this helps you guys figure out what’s wrong.

    Thanks
