“bumped streams” help continue conversations but are bad for creating new conversations while “unbumped streams” are the converse.

btw, cool plugin with XML-RPC. I’ll have to check into it.

The Privacy Component is almost ready. I’m waiting for a few more bug fixes in BP before I release it. If the fixes are not made within the next week, I may release it as is with a few additional instructions.

Make sure that the “Signup page” field underneath your security settings at yourwebsitename.com/wp-admin/wpmu-admin.php?page=secure_invite_list&view=settings is filled with the text: “wp-signup.php,wp-login.php?action=register,/register”.

I believe that plugin was not upgraded for the latest versions of BP and is no longer supported. Your best bet is to probably wait for the WordPress plugin sponsored by Google Summer of Code to come out.

Dude, your theme has to be working somewhere online for us to know that it actually works with BP and isn’t just a static HTML/CSS page. It looks cool, but you’ve got to show us something that’s up and running.

I don’t think you mean “flash slideshows”, what you’re really looking for is “jquery slideshows”. Just install a regular jquery WordPress plugin and activate it on your main website. Hmm… we just upgraded to BP 1.2.4.1 from BP 1.2.3 and it’s fixed our time lag problem.

not yet using the current has_activities BP_Activity_Activity:get way… i may be able to get around it by building a custom db query to pull out a list of activity_ids (meeting the criteria for included bumped activity types with no activity comments) then pass that into BP_Activity_Activity:get_specific
