In reply to: Custom Profile Field Limit to 5 numbers?
Hmm, but I want it to be unique, like the email address..
Any plugins?
In reply to: BP Sections?Clever with the words… “What’s not available to the public …”
I’m looking forward to the new BP release!
=]
In reply to: BP Sections?Hmmm… Thanks for the info.
Would this work if I had a seperate BP installation for every network (running on WP multisite)?
In reply to: BP Sections?Do you think this might work? http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/multi-domains
In reply to: Custom Profile Field Limit to 5 numbers?Anything?
In reply to: Calendar Plugin?Wow, paying $17.42 a month? I think I found a better one… I will link it
In reply to: BP Sections?Unfortunately, as BP is not multisite, redirecting users to different ‘sections’ is useless until BP becomes multisite.
Good plugin though.
In reply to: BP Sections?@mercime, would this plugin still work in BP, as BP is not multisite capable?
Thanks
In reply to: Custom Profile Field Limit to 5 numbers?Similar to the ’email address’
THat possible? Via plugin?
In reply to: BP Sections? Is that possible?
In reply to: BP Sections?@nahummadrid, I really like that idea. So,
If an exsisting user goes to example.com, they see a simple login prompt: Username/Password.
They enter their user/pass and they are automatically redirected to the ‘section’ (or installation subdomain) of the BP website. Each ‘section’ is independent, and no information is transfered between any ‘sections.’That’s what I want.
…. This all sounds very exciting!
In reply to: BP Sections? No problem! Is there any hint of that in the future?
In reply to: Change “Group” to something elseIm sure this is possible. Can some one point me to documentation? I cant find it in the codex
In reply to: BP Sections?Nice!
However, I would like people that are in a section to be able to “sign up” for particular groups, thus each group must be visible to users under each section. Would this require multiple installations? Thanks!
I have confidence that BP will work hard to make a multisite plugin/update =]
In reply to: BP Sections?Hmm. I think I should specify. If a user is chose Section A, then they only see specific groups and members of that same Section; they have no access to groups, members, or forums of other sections. Each one is independent. IS that possible? Or do I need a seperate installation of BP and WP for each Section?
Thanks!
In reply to: Change “Group” to something elseAny ideas? I want to change the menu text.
In reply to: WordPress/BuddyPress Facebook integration?I am using Simple Facebook COnnect,. It DOES allow users to connect FB and WP, but I want them to be able to sign up using BuddyPress, not just WP. So when users hit “register” on my BuddyPress theme, there is a connect button, not just when they go to wp-login.
Any ideas?
In reply to: Register Special Automatic ?Can you elaborate on your process? I would like them to join as a moderator but not assigned to anything specifically. I would like them to have the power to create a group and manage it, while those without this special ‘password’ will just be regular members
In reply to: Change “Group” to something elseWhere can I change it’s appearance? I cant seem to find it in the .php files.
In reply to: Moderator/Admin only access a specific Group? But I only want ModA to have access to GroupA, B to B etc.
That works?
In reply to: Moderator/Admin only access a specific Group? Is this possible?
In reply to: Change “Group” to something elseAlright, thanks! I will take a look.
