Am curious to see what you did… I only included the “/” after the URL when I created the App and it works for me. Are you able to import and export to facebook now?
I’m assuming you downloaded the non-working version from buddypress and not the working one from buddystream with regard to the zip?

You need to create the Facebook Application at this link after you log into Facebook:
http://developers.facebook.com/setup/Add the Site Name, the Site URL (followed by a /) and the locale.
Once you do that you will need to record theAPPLICATION ID and
APPLICATION SECRET into BUDDYSTREAM —— NOT the API KEY -

@danfun Daniel we are working on all these things… This will be in beta for quite a while. We need to gather data from a number of users as we go forward. Expect some type of maintenance release in the next 10 to 21 days… In the meantime, we are gathering more feedback from other users and beta testers…. It will get better…

Richard where the folks using FACESTREAM enabled as BuddyStream FACEBOOK users when changed to BuddyStream? AND they could not post —> BUT when you reset them it worked? I’m just trying to understand better so I can direct other users that will have the same problem… we are looking at the possibility of a “reset all” for this type of issue…

Yes. When I disabled the Facestream plugin and installed Buddystream, when posting from the Activity Stream Twitter received the post ok but FB didnt. When I reset the FB users in Buddystream and then went and authorised the user (via the top bar) the postings to FB started to happen again. Hope this helps.

Facebook to BuddyStream Issues… Are others experiencing not being able to post from FaceBOOK to BuddyStream? Have you all verified your API? Have you tried this making sure that NO filters are enabled…
