| WordPress Origin Story | Using WordPress since 2009. I’ve helped translate WordPress core, themes and plugins into German, co-organized WordCamp Cologne 2015, held some really bad sessions at WordCamps and Meetups, and tormented users with know-it-all answers in the German support forums for years. Often baffled by the communication in the OpenSource project. My contribution as a moderator in the support forums has taught me a lot. I still don’t find it easy to hold back my own mood, but objectivity and politeness are prerequisites for good support. Love conquers all. Being an old white man, I now leave support to others. |
