Awesome! Thank you.
Hmm. I tried it but nothing shows up.
Hmm, I’m a bit confused.
So I have to change all instances of http in all of my files to https?
Even if avatars are forced to https why would http be an issue?Paul, did you find a fix or do I have to wait for another version to come out?
Paul,
Ideally I’d like to have the whole site forced https since I have a private ssl. So, WP+BP in all https if possible.
I did a fresh install of WP and just installed BP, so I doubt it’s an image issue. Is there a way to go totally https?
I also went to Settings > General and changed WordPress Address (URL) to have an https rather than http. Anytime I click BP parts of the site it goes back to regular http.
Thank you. I’ll look into this. If I don’t know how this can be done, I have a developer in mind.
Hmm, alright.
@davidtcarson I thought this theme was for use with 1.5?? If so, I don’t know why it isn’t working on my 1.5 b2 install.
Please clarify… is your theme for use with BuddyPress 1.9.2, 1.5 b2, or this trunk version you just shared? Do you have a link to current/detailed install directions? Thanks.

Yes, I’ve enabled a menu, downloaded the zip from github, cleared my cache, crossed my fingers… but the theme continues to appear broken. Is anyone else having this issue?
@intermike I downloaded and re-activated the theme but no luck.
@davidtcarson How can I get the theme to work?
@intermike How did you get it to work? The theme comes out all mixed up

Thanks.Alright. Thank you.
Ahh, thank you @mercime. If I disable Secure Invites, will the registration process return to normal?
@djpaul. Yes I’m using MU. So I have to manually add users to my one MU blog? That sounds extremely time consuming an inefficient.
Why aren’t they automatically added?@nathanielrenton I don’t know why this is happening.
Ahh that’s where it is. Thank you!
This may be a temporary option for your site: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/registered-users-only-2/
I’m not sure how to specifically limit widgets for those who are logged in.
@DJpaul Yeah, the easy click method.
It definitely is a BP issue to some degree.
@meini , I haven’t found an answer yet. I created a ticket at https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/3098
I’m interested in having two profile pages… one regular, and one that has less, similar to a business card.
https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-xtra-signup/ may work
However, another option would be to add a line of code that asserts that if a user proceeds in creating an account, they agree to your Ts and Cs. Find `registration/register.php` and add text to line 198. Surround your Ts and Cs url with a link for users to view it before proceeding. That way any members on your site will have read/agreed to them.
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/linking/_A_TARGET_95y98y108y97y110y107y.htmlI think as long as the SQL database is paired/updated correctly, it may work.
If you’re unsure, try setting up another buddypress install + SQL db on xxxxx.com then move it to yyyyy.com and see if it works before you switch your main site.
Good suggestions @modemlooper and @boonegorges .
I have WPMU (thankfully backed stuff up) went to 3.1 but noticed a few hiccups and rolled back to the previous version. I’m going to wait until a few things are resolved before I use it on my live sites.Pay $35 for a theme or post a heavily charged political letter on the web?
No thank you!
Are you looking for something like “all messages will be deleted after __ days”?
Alright. I notified the theme creator. Even if there isn’t a solution, I’m able to locate the code in buddypress and change it accordingly. Thank you @mercime
