WordPress Origin Story

Was working for a marketing company building websites in Movabletype. Had been hearing great things about WordPress. I sat down after Thanksgiving dinner in 2005 and built an entire replication of an existing Movabletype site in just a few hours. The MT version had taken 2 weeks to build. I knew at that moment what my new universal tool was going to be. Have stuck with WordPress ever since.
