Thanks @danbp, I suppose I’ll have to either figure out the Cover photo issue or leave it. Re the Quoted page title linking, in my case it is displaying a portion of the actual website, see example here:

Any ideas why?

Hi,

I’ve made a website using WordPress with Buddypress installed and for some reason when someone posts a link to a webpage on their activity or a group the webpage gets embedded into the feed? Is this standard behavior or a known bug and does anyone know how to resolve it?

Hi @danbp,

The theme itself wasn’t so much custom as just tweaked for purpose, it is a child theme of the Reverie theme (http://themefortress.com/reverie/) which is a foundation and WordPress framework. There weren’t many (if any) theme changes made beyond the style sheet and I there aren’t any Widgets in use beyond the Buddypress sidebar ones.…[Read more]
