| WordPress Origin Story | In a previous life, I needed a website. I found out how much a brand new shiny home online might cost and decided I was probably smart enough to do it myself. I did with the help of WordPress. It was so shiny that friends and family and perfect strangers from far and wide inquired about its origin, and how much a shiny new home for them online might cost. They figured they were probably smart enough to focus on their businesses / families / lives / sleep and whatever else they were currently doing and so helped to plant the seed of my last venture Nona Creative. Having sold out of Nona Creative at the end of 2017, I’ve started a new, entirely remote product design and development studio, Sigma Digital, where I spend most of my time helping our team of talented designers and developers create digital experiences that impact millions of people. I now use Golang, nodeJS, react, and a multitude of other toys, right alongside my WordPress stack. |
