Hey xberserker, the core code is available in /bp-core/bp-core-notifications.php
Check out some of the other plugins that use notifications and you’ll have a better idea as to how it works.P.S. you can take my name off the CubePoints BP plugin as you’ve pretty much made it your own now!

You would need to modify the profile loop template so only BP site admins can edit the profile field in question.
Get acquainted with the profile loop:

There’s a problem with curling quotations (
“) not (“) because it will give that T_STRING error. -

Make sure you’re not using quotations in the date() function.
Try this:
date('D M j Y G:i:s', strtotime(bp_get_the_topic_time()));I replied to a similar thread a while ago; I’ll try to dig it up.

Instead of trying to change the URL of the activity feed, you should redirect the feed to the Feedburner URL.
Read this excellent blog entry by Jeff Starr for hints:

I haven’t run into the issue myself, so I’m not much help to you I’m afraid.
You might want to ping @jillsays about your problem since she had the problem.

Hi @tubruk,
From what you typed, I can’t really confirm what it is you want to do.
Sounds more like a theme issue, you might want to check modemlooper’s BP Columns theme for hints on how to structure the page into 3 columns:

Can’t you just create and upload a new favicon in the root of your server?

r-a-y posted on the forum topic Youtube embed in profile in the group oEmbed for BuddyPress: 15 years, 3 months ago
The technique by @sbrajesh will work, but it will not cache the oEmbed request. What this means is every time you load someone’s profile page, a request will be sent to YouTube et al. to grab the embed code. This isn’t ideal if you have a high trafficked site. — The 0.6-beta offers support for caching: […]

r-a-y posted on the forum topic Disable Oembed on a certain activity stream? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 3 months ago
The main juice is the filter. What you’ll want to do is disable the current filter and write a conditional to activate the filter (depending on where you want it to be enabled). Let’s say you wanted to disable oEmbed from the home page, something like the following will work in your theme’s functions.php: `remove_filter( […]

This should preferably be posted in the oEmbed BP forum: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/oembed-for-buddypress/forum But anyway… yup it should be possible. Would have to write a custom activity fetch routine to do this. Might add this for oEmbed for BP 0.7 (that’s right, I’m talking about 0.7 before 0.6 is officially released!). Re:…[Read more]

Hi,
That code snippet isn’t enough to go on. Can you preferably post a forum thread so other people can read and comment on your problem?
