@DJPaul – It’s because the second parameter got added to the bp_core_get_user_displayname filter in BP 1.2.4. I’m using that second parameter, $member->ID.

@DJPaul – This will work for Welcome Pack:
echo apply_filters( 'bp_core_get_user_displayname', $member->display_name, $member->ID )

FYI, this requires BP 1.2.4.

I’m using a simple str_replace. Though I see in your case, it would replace many times over!

Will look into a fix.

Activity items are cached, so when you change your members slug, these items are not changed.

You’ll have to add a RewriteRule in your .htaccess file.

Something like this will work:
RedirectMatch 301 ^/members/(.*)$ http://www.example.com/uyeler/$1

Do not use a PHP plugin like ExecPHP unless you really have to.

You’re passing the parameters wrong.

if ( bp_has_activities( 'object=groups&primary_id=2') ) : bp_the_activity();

You can either create a shortcode plugin that uses the BP activities loop, or create a PHP page template with the activities loop with the group parameters passed into it:

I actually did have the “bp_member_name” filter applied to Welcome Pack in a previous release, but removed it because it wasn’t working correctly with Welcome Pack.
