@r-a-y @r-a-y you still keen to check out the group events plug-in. Doubt its going anywhere with wpmu dev, as Dweanus said, seems like they just hire ppl to make the app and then don’t know whats going on, same with their themes.. Can’t even solve a over-lapping menu item..

the other fix is to change the function in the BP functions file. You’d have to keep track of that change on upgrades to BP. I still think you can remove it via remove_action.

@r-a-y maybe it was already mentioned and I didnt see it, but I can’t get the oembed to work on the profile page. Is there a fix for this. Sorry I’m a newb.

  oEmbed doesn’t work on profile pages. I’ve mentioned this before.
  The main blocking issue is removing the cached data from the DB if you decide you want to remove say a YouTube URL from your profile, if no one cares about this, then I can add support for this in the next version.

@r-a-y thanks that function did remove the slash at the end, and the link works now, but before using you code the “remove avatar” link at the end didn’t work either. It just redirect to the homepage and keeps the old avatar.. can you please look at this again and see what may be the cause?! […]

It works if you are logged in but then it only displays your data – following and followers. When browsing to another member’s profile, your count is displayed and not theirs. If you are not logged in, it shows 0 for both following and followers

With reference to the message you sent me below. I am trying to remove the tab for the plugin links at http://www.science2point0.com/wikis/ for some reason none of the permalinks work so Im getting rid of them. In css would I just put links{display:none;}?

@r-a-y I think I found a little bug, so you maybe could catch it! 😉

When I mentioned a user, to show him a YouTube video, the link wouldn´t convert to embedded code.
Like this:
