Ray looks awesome… I already tried it.. states you must have wp 3.0 to use… we are using 2.9.2…. Can’t upgrade to 3.0 because we are using the activity stream as a “front page” and there is an issue with that displaying in 3.0+ and bp…. @r-a-y

@r-a-y I have another WP3 RC 3 with BP 1.2.4.1 install on the same server & it doesn’t occur.
I want to do a fresh install with 2.9.2 and see if I can reproduce but not sure if there is much point as it looks like WP3 will be out today or tomorrow.

Thanks for your help, I have seen this page before and the solution in, but it cause error on the admin profile cause it stay in the old /members/ URL

@r-a-y Hi Ray, I’m looking to start developing a buddypress site when wp 3.0 is finally released. I’ve got the basics sorted but I may need a little help with customisation and getting a few plugins working. I was wondering what your going rate for help/consultancy for this kind of thing was?

@r-a-y Ok, thank you 🙂 But it’s still doesn’t work… Yes, I see “Mark as Favorite” text, but it makes nothing. And yes, bp-custom is in its place. Each post link to favourite it has the same wpnonce. oopsss…now a different issue… @r-a-y I made changes in bp-core-avatars to fetch avatars from uploads/group-avatars/ folder Removed the height property so that the images will be fetched and displayed as per their width and the height will be adjusted accordingly….the problem is that this is working fine for some groups, and not working at…[Read more]

  I have no plans on adding support for both Followers and Friends. It’s bad from a usability perspective to use both friends and followers.
  
  If you need this, you can customize the code yourself. I’m also available to do custom code.
