@rairai-ni have you tried reuploading BuddyPress manually i.e. via FTP? Have you double-checked your Settings > BuddyPress panels and resaved settings?

@rairai-ni What other plugins do you have activated in your site? Check if those are compatible with latest BP version. If not, deactivate those plugins and check if members of private group can see group’s contents.

@rairai-ni basic troubleshooting -> deactivate gantry plugin and change to Twenty Twelve theme and check if the issue is gone. If it is, then you have to contact the gantry plugin/theme dev about this issue or check out the gantry forums re BP issues.

@rairai-ni no problem with the number of plugins, there are those which have much more installed. There’s a similar but not quite the same issue posted recently and the common plugin is Contact Form 7. @rairai-ni What plugins do you have installed? What theme are you using? WP version? Do provide more information about your installatio. Just tested in two installs and message is sent only once.
