I just set my page body width to 100% and it fixed my resolutions.
okay I inserted a image for the header and for some reason in older browsers espacially internet explorer the color of the header changes and I think it just simply doesn’t show the uploaded image so my question is, is there anyway to set the header color NOT image but color to something I want and have it stay there even with older browsers because I know there are web safe colors.

this may be due to the fact that it’s not finding your url so my best suggestion to you is to type in whatever your site name is like http://www.myarket.com and add this /admin at the end of it like this: http://www.myarket.com/wp-admin/ this should take you to the back end of wp so there you can either uninstall bp 1.57 or install plugin called 301 redirect so that you can fix your url issues.
your last option is to go to your hosting plan site or your server FTP Panel and delete buddypress 1.57 and then you would be good to go but you have to go and re-install bp 1.56 to find out if that was the problem.
you know the check boxes let me post a screen shot from image shack. I am referring to this picture it is your plugin. You have the “let the user decide” drop down option but if you could just please add the default “friends only” check boxes and add the private messaging it would be superb. I would personally greatly appreciated thanks. I tried others but it was too much of hassle for user if they would want to go that deep I want something simple as yours so even my grandpa would be able to set his privacy settings thanks again.

Hi there Mr. SlushMan and I am so glad that I am hearing from you sir first of all I would like to ask you if I may use your plugin in my website and if so what I am trying to accomplish is to have the menu to have a submenu like okay Activity for instance I want it to have everything in it like Personal Mentions Favorites to hide under actions and open up like drop down menu if user click on Activity and also 2 more things, 1 how can I change the color of the links and also the names of the links.

okay you see how you added 1 left side bar I was able to do the same thing with different name in functions.php but the place where the sidebar must be I can’t get it to be. I can’t set the margins so I would have 3 sidebars along with my content like facebook you see how they have 1 side bar for chat , 1 for ads, 1 for navigation and finally 1 main content area?
Hey Modem Looper bud the plugin you wrote custom profile fields is there anyway to prevent some not all profile fields to show up on registration page? and also about the age drop down so is there really cure for that year problem with wp? because it goes up to 2037.

I tried to install it as a plugin it failed, tried as a theme it saying it’s missing a css file and template it’s a broken theme so I don’t know can you please help me. thanks.

yes and it is working fine for me but the thing is in bp everything is wide open to everyone like if me and you are two members on my site I can come to your profile and see your activities and so on even though I am not your friend on the site. and that is really bugging me I want to set it up like other social networks like how on facebook as long as we’re not friends I can’t see nothing.

I understand modemlooper bud but I was wondering to know about your opinion as a expert on this plugin dude I know you know things about bp and with your premission I did installed your version of bp-default theme whichs awesome anyway but what i am looking for is a comment box similiar to Facebook’s I want to be able to let my users upload music playlist and comment on it, upload videos and so on but this plugin is kind of limited can you Please help me on this thank you bro.

Well NO your not being helpfull I am sorry to say this but last time I asked a question not to you but to the community, but you came on and said hire a developer. I am a student and trying to learn php and so on and I don’t have money to buy some services and also What do you mean you got to write some code and modify your registration template I Dont understand if you dont like to help me that’s fine you don’t have to but please don’t block my post as others may wish to help me and if you are trying to help me don’t leave me in the water with no training on how to swim. because i felt like I am left in middle of nowhere. so if your offended I am sorry but if you want to support me maybe you should explain a little bit in more details which I would appreciated. thanks.
also I got another question bud thanks for your answer but I was wondering to know how to can I make a facebook front page like you know I don’t want the actual site navigation bar and so on to show up before the user has signed in. I want them to only see the login box and the registration box at the front page how can I do that?
Also my friend on this side bar thing I just re-follow your code It works 100% Perfect but how can I put this sidebar on the left side so basically if I am using the default template of buddypress, I want it to have three columns left middle and right it already has content and right side bar but I am trying to add the left one. thanks bro again.
